Reminiscing about his time spent in Italy, pastry chef and owner Daniel Benjamin of lucettegrace has invited Chef Teddy Diggs of Coronato to show off his “sweet” side. From September 7 to 16, Cornato’s Tiramisu will be available as a special feature at lucettegrace, downtown Raleigh’s contemporary patisserie located at 235 S Salisbury St, Raleigh, NC 27601.
lucettegrace has invited Coronato to bring some Italian flavor to the patisserie. Coronato’s Tiramisu features mascarpone zabayone, coffee soil, cocoa and an amarena cherry. The two chefs collaborated to create the featured dessert in lucettegrace’s kitchen. Chef Benjamin’s addition of a gold leaf to Chef Diggs’ Coronato Tiramisu is truly the “crown” on this royal delight. Guests are invited to taste Coronato’s Tiramisu for $6.50 at lucettegrace.
Show Off & Win
A social media contest will also be held for the chance to win a box of eight lucettegrace macarons and two tickets to Cornato’s soft opening in 2019. To enter, guests must post a picture of their Coronato Tiramisu on Instagram and tag @CoronatoPizza and @lucettegrace from September 7 to 16. The best picture posted on Instagram will be the winner, and will be selected by chef Daniel Benjamin.
