Chef Joe Lumbrazo’s Next Wine Pairing Dinner

Chef Joe Lumbrazo of Backyard Bistro is dishing up four fantastic courses at a special wine and food pairing dinner at Zin Yoga Studio and Wine Lounge in Garner on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. and has extremely limited seating, so reservations must be made by Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Tickets can be purchased online at ZinYogaWine.com and are $65.00.

In addition to enjoying Chef Joe’s gourmet creations, French wine maker Pauline Lurton from Mas Janeil, an estate in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in Southern France, will be in attendance with some of her wines, as well as Zingo Munger from Cape Classics, who produced wines from South Africa, with his wines!

Aperitif: Vincent Careme Vouvray Brut 2012

1st Course
Roasted Corn and Goat Cheese Soup with Shrimp, Brown Butter Chanterelles and Chives
Paired with Les Hauts de Janeil Franache Sauvignon 2012

2nd Course
Squash Risotto with Roasted Cauliflower, Lemon, Arugula, Crushed Pink Peppercorn and Tomato Butter
Paired with Mas Janeil “Le Petit Pas” Rouge 2014

3rd Course
Zin Yoga’s Peking Duck with Firecracker Chinese Long Beans, Red Peppers, Green Peas and Duck Jus
Paired with Raats Family “Red Jasper” Red Blend

4th Course
Chocolate Decadent Rounds with Pinot Noir Creme Anglaise, Raspberries and Mint.
Paired with Annalisa Malvasia 2014
